With summer vacation over, it’s time to transition back into routines, but they’ve all noticeably changed since we last saw them in school.
When did I start feeling like my name had a special ring to it whenever you called out to me? When did I start doing dumb stuff over and over again as long as I knew it would make you smile? When did I start loving you so much that I couldn’t stand it?
Here we get a better view of Kyo’s personal growth by reminding us of where he’s been and showing us the dark future that’s been prepared for him. It also shows him being completely adorable with Tohru.
I hate to keep harping on the failures of the anime, but Takaya-sensei really knew what she was doing when she organized the chapters this way. Last chapter was able to focus intimately on Kyo’s relationship with Tohru (and a little with his mom), and this one looks at his relationship with Kazuma (and a little with his mom). Read more
